UNICO National is the largest Italian-American Service Organization in the United States. The Verona Chapter of UNICO was established in 1970 and over the years more than $500,000 has been donated to national and local organizations in order to provide a better quality of life for those less fortunate. The Verona Chapter has granted hundreds of scholarships to local high school students. Verona UNICO is one of the sponsors of the summer concert series held in the town civic center and participates in Verona's Fair in the Square held in December. The Verona UNICO Labor Day 5-K Race and the Sunday 'Gravy' Dinner are two major fundraisers that support local volunteer and non-profit organizations and scholarships.
